I am giving Big Bowl Schaumburg five stars, knowing it is not a "five-star" restaurant. It gets five stars because it is exactly what it pretends to be and not more or less, and it is incredibly consistent over the many years we've been going. We've ordered food to take out, and we've dined in. The ambiance of this particular Big Bowl is nicer than the Lincolnshire location, in our experience. Lincolnshire's restaurant leaves a lot to be desired, but Schaumburg has separate dining spaces that make it feel cozy and unique. The service is always good, servers are friendly, and the cooking staff is very consistent here. The food is honestly great. Again, I'm speaking for this location (I've dined at others and again, they leave something to be desired). I like that I can find healthy options on the menu (Thai Hot Pepper Shrimp or Chicken, Chopped Chicken Salad, cauliflower rice). My husband loves the cashew chicken and seven-flavor chicken, or the create-your-own station. The egg rolls are always a good bet, as are the potstickers and green beans. We are just as happy dining in as we are taking an order home with us.

We have been coming to Big Bowl for more than a decade. Everything we have tried at Big Bowl has been amazing. The ambience is really nice and so are the people.

Big bowl is a stir fry restaurants with the option to build your own bowl. I ordered a tofu bowl with kung pan sauce and pad thai noodles. They have a full bar with vegetables that are buffet style. I overfilled my bowl with almost everything they had to offer and got so much food as a result. The meal came together rather quickly. The bowls are ~$20 each, so a bit on a pricey end but you'll have leftovers if you stuff it enough

Food was great. Service was nice. Ambiance is romantic. Chilly day and we sat outside not ideal but the space was packed.

I really enjoyed the food and service here and especially appreciate the gluten free menu. Part of Lettuce Entertain You so you can earn and redeem those points and gift cards. There were many large parties celebrating graduation the day we visited but that didn't slow the service. Portions are huge and food was flavorful and steaming hot. They have a nice patio but unfortunately it wasn't open maybe due to a chance of rain.

Been a while since I was at Big Bowl since our last experience was not too good. We decided to give them another try. Went on a Sunday for a late lunch. It was not too crowded and we were seated immediately. Last time we did the Stir Fry "Do it Yourself" Bowl so this time we decided to order off the menu. We would totally recommend doing this. Their menu is huge plus they have a Gluten Free menu! Started with a Sapporo Draft Beer and a Pomegranate Sangria. Tasty drinks but prices are a little high in my opinion. My wife had the Gluten Free Beef and Broccoli and I had the Teriyaki Shrimp Fried Rice. Portions are huge and the meals came out hot and both were very flavorful. Plenty of parking available. If you want made to order entrees using fresh ingredients,give Big Bowl a try. Part of the Lettuce Entertainment Group.
